Good morning everyone!

I hope you all had a great winter break and a happy new year! We are so excited to get back into the swing of things here at KHS and prepare for the upcoming annual Pop's Show! You will see that our Spring Semester Calendar has been updated and posted on the front page, as well as the syllabus section of the website as well. Our dedicated yearbook team has also uploaded all of the photos from the Winter Concert, so feel free to check them out on our media page!

The Vocal department is very busy in January with 3 vocal festivals taking place every upcoming Monday this month! Please help me congratulate all of the students that were accepted to these Honor Festivals!

January 11-12, Dorian Vocal Festival: Kaylynne Anderson, Bekah Bennett & Malichi Swan

January 19, ICDA 9th-10th Grade Honor Choir: Sophia DeMello, Avery Beal, Holly Evensen, Anabelle Green, Rylee VanDorn, Reagan Sinclair Mia Durham & Tyler Bull

January 25-26, Meistersinger Honor Choir: Kaylynne Anderson, RaShaun Boyer, Bekah Bennett, Willow Kam & Malichi Swan

Lastly, we are excited to announce that we will be having a student teacher this term working with the Concert Choir and the Chamber Singers! Mr. Humphrey is a current senior at Central College and he will be student teaching with me from now until the end of February! He will conduct some songs at Pop's Show and you'll be hearing from him very soon.
