Student Teaching Update #3: Solo Auditions

Hello Parents and families!

I can’t believe that it’s week four of student teaching already! That means that after this week, I will already be halfway through my time at KHS. I’m looking forward to the time I have remaining to get to know and work with your kids in the meantime.

Last week, we held auditions for the mezzo soprano solo in “When I Fall in Love.” We had five students audition, and all would have been very qualified candidates for the solo. I selected RaShaun Boyer to perform that solo. Congratulations RaShaun!

You can see RaShaun on the “When I Fall in Love” solo, along with many other acts from various soloists as well as the chamber singers in action on February 17th at the KHS Pops Show! Let’s pack KPAC full and support these awesome students!
